Slow Startup

Recently, I have noticed that Project Pro 2003 takes about 55 seconds to open
on my desktop. AFAIK it doesn't matter what the conditions are, it just
takes that long to go from punching the go button until I have a project
screen on my desktop. Can any of you wizards tell me, or point me to, a way
to approch finding the problem?
