Slow to open hyperlink in Outlook Express

I am not quite sure if this is the correct way of asking this question but
when I click on a link in Outlook Express it is sooooo slow to open and
sometimes does not open at all. I just did the reccomended steps via the
support site and it seemed to help. BUT it is still SO slow to open the
page. It didn't use to be that way. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks

Express is actually a separate program despite the similar name.
