slow WORD, NAV vs mcafee

I have read the posts regarding Word starting slowly and
the problems with Norton Anti-Virus. However, I run
Mcafee. Anybody know why I am having problems? I tried
the fix suggested for Norton, by entering Mcafee and
disabling the Microsoft Office Intergration, however,
that did not help.
