Smartart graphics resizing all the time

After creating a Hierarchy SmartArt graphic without any connectors connecting
to any of the other boxes I run into the following problem. When I resize one
of the boxes it resizes and moves my other boxes.

Is there anything I can to keep the other boxes stable when I need to
re-adjust another box?

I'm not sure I'm following exactly, but no, there doesn't seem to be any way to
control the size of an individual element independently of the other elements.
