Smooth panning title slide

I'm using PPT 2007, and I have a panoramic image that animates right-to-left
slowly across my opening slide, but half way through the animation, the
motion becomes a little choppy. I have the speed set for 20 seconds, smooth
start and smooth finish are shut off, and the file size is 287 kb. Any ideas
on how to make the image pan smoothly throughout the entire animation?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

The less you give powerpoint to do the better.

Try the following:

- Set your 'bit depth' on your windows desktop to something lower
eg 16bit instead of 32bit

- Set your 'resolution' on your windows desktop to something lower
eg. 1024x768 or 800x600

- Try it with 'hardware acceleration' on, then with it OFF

- Set it to 30 seconds

- Even though the file is 287kb, what is the 'resolution' in pixels of the
image?




Turn off any un needed software that runs in the background.... eg. norton

I slowed down the speed to 30 seconds and that seemed to do it. Thanks!
