I receive a error in sending email. It says that the smtp server fails to
respond. I have checked my settings and they are correct. If I set up my
account on another computer in the office, it is fine. I receive email no
problems. It used to work fine, then one day, after a crash, no luck in
sending email. I have had very good tech support from isp and our own IT
people look into it, and no fix yet.
Here is the error message:
Task 'Mikes Work Account - Sending' reported error (0x8004210B) : 'The
operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If
you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP).'
It is also interesting to note that outlook says "sending message 1 of 2"
when trying to send a message when only one is in the outbox.
With firewall off and antivirus disactivated, I have the same problems. Any
suggestions?
Thanks, Mike
