Snap to (displayed) Grid does not always work right

I've had this problem for a long time with my Word 2007. The intersections
between the displayed gridlines do not always coincide with the corners, ends
or sides of, say, a simple straight horizontal or vertical line, when "Snap
to Grid" is on and the object is moved with either the arrow keys or by
dragging. It's extremely frustrating having to micro align every object in a
drawing because Word is incapable of doing that for you.

I guess, I've answered my own question on this one. If anyone is interested
to know, when you double-click in the space between pages of a document in
Print Layout view, to hide white spaces, the gridlines on the drawing canvas
go out of whack with where they're supposed to be, relative to the drawing:
possibly an oversight by the developers.
