Snapshot Viewer -- Install Problem -- "Error Creating Process"

I am trying to install the snapshot viewer. The installer keeps halting with
a "error creating process" error. The reason displayed contains only
unreadable characters. Has anyone every seen this before? How did you fix it?

My system is WinXP Pro Sp3 and I have MSO2k7 ninstalled

Never heard of the unreadable characters but if you don't have a default
printer installed that might cause a problem.
