Snapshot Viewer setup fails silently on Windows 2003

Can anyone shed any light on this?

When installing Microsoft Snapshot Viewer 10.0 on Windows 2003, the setup
fails silently at the end (ie before completion).

When next logging in, the system prompts to submit an error report in
ACMSETUP.EXE to Microsoft.

Then, when attempting to load a .SNP file, the viewer launches but does not
display the file.

I have also noticed that this occurs on Windows XP SP2 RC1.

I have been unable to find any mention of this in the Knowledgebase,
newsgroups or Google.

This problem no longer seems to occur on Windows XP SP2 RC2. Snapshot Viewer
10.0 installs successfully.

Hopefully there will be a similar fix in Windows 2003 SP1.
