I am running into compatibility problems between Entourage and iCal and using Excel under Snow Leopard. With iCal, I am seeing Events that are showing incorrect start times, even though they are correct in the Entourage calendar. I escalated to Apple and their response was that's interesting and we are seeing some reports but we don't have an answer. I can't use Excel; after two or three minutes of use, I am kick-out to my log-in screen and have to log back in to my MacBook. With this Excel issue, Apple Support suggested that I either install iWorks or Mac office 2008 on trial until they can figure it out. Not good news for me but will try Mac 2208 trial first. I am interested in hearing if others are experiencing similar issues. Thanks.

Can you test in a new User? This would eliminate any cache problems that
might be causing this. I was having some problems with some Automator
workflows that were scheduled in iCal and after deleting some cache files in
Application Support they started working again.

Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the
New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching.

If the problem exists in this clean environment, then there is a problem
with Apple or Microsoft.

Yes, that is one of the steps that Apple Support had me try when I contacted them and it did not resolve the issue. Of course, Apple Support then gave the usual that "while we would like to help you, it really is a MS problem"- the old Thanks but no thanks routine. I have just downloaded MS Mac office 2008 trial so we will see how that goes. Thanks.
