Software not compatible with Vista.

I bought a new laptop with Vista already installed. I went to install the
program I use for work and the message said that I didn't have this file or
that I didn't have files that connected to it. IGToolBars50.ocx. Do I
have to downgrade to XP? My boss says our software is not compatible with
Vista. I need to figure something out, I need to be mobile and work from
anywhere.

Open Vista's "Help and Support" and type in: Program Compatibility Wizard
and press the enter key on your keyboard, then follow the instructions.

If your boss says your software isn't compatible with Vista, there may not
anything you can do. Did you talk to your IT department to see if they can
help you?

Not sure how your question relates to Microsoft Office, which is what
this newsgroup supports.
