Software not loading

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

A friend of mine gave me an Office 98 CD to load on my laptop. I downloaded the file, but none of the applications will open. I don't know if this package had 3 keys and whether they've been used. How do I check if there's another key available?

Office 98 will not run in OSX. It's a classic application.
