Solution for Syncing with Blackberry

Does anyone have a working solution to sync Blackberrys (mine is a 8100 Pearl) with Entourage 2008 (mine is on a MacBook Pro). All the prior threads on this topic appear to be almost a year old.

I have tried PocketMac but it crashes when I attempt to change the preferences for each item I wish to sync.

I have partly succeeded by syncing Ent 2008 to iCal and Address Book first, then syncing iCal and AB to the BB but I have not yet got the calendar syncing.

Corentin is right about contacting their tech support department but
I'm not sure how good they at responding as I posted a question to
them and never heard anything although maybe the SPAM filter ate it.
Anyway, your situation is curious to me. I use PocketMac with my
BlackBerry Curve and OS4.5 and it works 100%. Make sure you have the
most current version from either their website (4.1.125 I think) or
the RIM website. You'll also notice updated USB drivers but I think
these are only for the Bold and Storm (I didn't install them and my
Curve runs fine). I did use Missing Sync for the BlackBerry but with
OS4.5 update I ran into problems. The other thing with Missing sync it
uses sync services and Entourage has sync serv issues. PocketMac
doesn't use sync serv but sync's directly with Entourage thus avoiding
these sync serv issues which is really good.

Just an update to this post - I did receive a response from PocketMac
today and it was very nice and quite comprehensive. I actually had
figured out how to resolve my problem and responded with how I did it
but said now that I have all this information should the problem
reoccur I will follow their steps. So they are quite helpful.

Thank you Kerry and Corentin. I have done the complete uninstall and reinstall of PM and the updated driver file. I have checked all of the support topics on the PM support site and have now sent a tech support request with all the details - no reply yet. My problem is simple:

When I click the Advanced Preferences button in any of the tabs (Calendar, Contacts, Tasks etc) I get an error message (The Application ERim Calendar [or Contacts, Tasks etc] quit unexpectedly...). I expect that it has something to do with the fact that I have one of the new MacBook Pro laptops with OS 10.5 etc.

Any other help is welcome! Thanks,

Might try the Missing Sync for Blackberry
