Solution: Personal Folder Backup not working or visibile on menu

A lot of us, myself included, have had trouble getting the Outlook Backup
program to work. It installs fine, but doesn't appear on the File menu or
do its job when you exit Outlook.

I have constructed a solution:

1) In Outlook (XP) click Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options>COM Add-Ins
2) Select Outlook Backup add-in and note the Location
3) Remove the add-in
4) Click Add then browse to the location you noted earlier (usually
\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Addins and choose outbak.dll
5) Make sure it's ticked then OK out of all windows and close then
restart Outlook

This will also work for other add-ins that exhibit the same problem (e.g.
Cloudmark SpamNet which incidentally is a wonderful peer-to-peer spam
alerting add-in).
