Yes. I assume you are doing a simple copy/paste or using an export map.
In either case the Notes will truncate either at the first line feed or
256 character limit. The way around this problem is either through VBA
or SQL. I have a couple of VBA macros that export the Notes (and a few
other fields) from Project to Excel. If you are interested, contact me
