Solver not showing up even though it is loaded

Excel 2007:
Please help me with this. I am getting a take home final tonight &
will need Solver to complete it. There is also a project coming due &
I need it for that, But I am in a serious fix regarding Solver . Your
help will be so greatly appreciated I can't even tell you!

When using solver I received an error message which seemed on but
unfortunately I can't recall it. What does happen now is detailed
below.

Solver does not show up on the "Data" tab @ the extreme right:
http://tinypic.com/r/2iiubnt/6

Under options it is shown as loaded:
http://tinypic.com/r/6sxdu8/6

I tried unloading and reloading to no avail.
I can see it on the Add-Ins tab at the extreme left:
http://tinypic.com/r/2li7h92/6

.... but when I click on that I get the following sequence of sub-
windows:
http://tinypic.com/r/ftlugg/6

There is one thing that also might be relevant I tried to load a
student version of Advanced Solver but after loading it did not show
up. Perhaps even so it is in the background somewhere tormenting me. I
would have ditched it already but I looked on the Add or Remove
Programs list and did not see anything about Advanced Solver or Solver
Advanced or anything like that. So I don't know how to get rid of it,
assuming that is the problem.

What can I do to correct this? I looked at MS Online under VBA
Converters like it said but there is just a bewildering list of topics
that have nothing to do with solver. The link on the third sub-window
in this last slide would not open. I searched that number in MS Online
but found nothing.
Thank You, You Lifesaver!

I don't know Advanced Solver, but have you looked at COM addins, to see if
it is in there?

BTW, I have just installed Solver in my 2007, and i get an entry in the Data
group as you intimated you should, BUT, I don't get anythiung in Addins.

Are you sure you have the correct version. I would try re-installing 2007.

Can you see "Analysis" group at the right of the Data tab?
This is where Solver and Data Analysis (Analysis Toolpac) reside
best wishes
