some basic questions about using pwa

hello all,

since I have been using projects server 2007 for a while, I have seen some
basic feautres are missing. according to me these are so basic so that i
think i maybe missing something (hopefully). therefore i will appretiate if
someone can answer my questions below:

1. i want to filter my tasks (my work -> my tasks) like i do in the in
project details (project center -> project details) but could not find a way.
Is there one? (i have tried to create a custom view from manage views") but
there is no filtering option for "my work" views)

2. the default and only grouping option i can see is grouping all tasks
under project name in "my tasks" view. is it possible to see the tasks under
summary tasks, also as in project details view?

3. i assigned summary tasks to the resources in project professional to see
the summary task progress in the my tasks view in pwa. but now i
unfortunately see that i can update the summary tasks in pwa. is there a
permission or something to disable this updates?

4. if these are all missing features for now, is there a good book published
about managing project server 2007 that mentions these issues and more?

regards,
orkun

I have some bad news for you, my friend:

1. Not possible.
2. Not possible.
3. No. You made a huge mistake assigning resources to summary tasks. You
should NEVER do this, whatever your reason. Remove the resources
immediately

We are working simultaneously on two books on Project Server 2007. One book
is aimed at the needs of project managers, while the other focuses on the
needs of Project Server administrators. We don't have a publication date
yet, but keep your eyes and ears open! :) Hope this helps.
