Some browsers can't veiw web site

I've published a web site using Microsoft Office
Publisher 2003 w/ SP1 and have been told that people
trying to view the website with a Macintosh browser can't
see any pictures. The website works fine for people
using explorer or AOL to view.

Any ideas how this can be fixed?????

You could try using FrontPage, which is specifically meant for creating
website. Since that probably isn't an option, what formats are your
pictures?

I'm not sure of the format (I'm new to this). I'm
importing picture in a JPEG format, pulling them into the
web page in publisher and then compressing the graphic.

I'm not sure if that helps tou or not

I am no expert in the differences but the site below is almost useless
in Firefox 1.0 but seems to work OK in IE.

I have a simple site of my own with pictures using Publisher 2003 and it
works just the same in Firefox and IE.
(I am currently not proud of it becausee I have not had time to maintain
it.)

If you are really interested in building a better website you need to
learn something about markup and not just expect a program to do all the
work for you. There's a lot of junk in your markup.

This is a website written by a teen (she started it when she was only
about 10) but it's not just for kids. It explains very clearly how to
get started with HTML.

If you go that far, start validating your pages here. This will point
out your mistakes:
http://validator.w3.org/

It's not as formidable as it seems. There are just a few basic things
you need to know and Lissa makes it easy.

Publisser sites are a bad idea, it will make you go crazy. If you do a site
in Publisher it will work only with IE, and if you use the vml items such as
word art, auo-shapes then it will only work with IE6. You need Front Page
however a basic knowledge of html is needed.
