Some Conditional Formats Not Available

I am using Excel 2000 on a network. Conditional Formatting for font typeface and size are not available under any circumstances. Has anyone else had this problem and/or identified the cause and/or remedy? Also the border options are severely limited (no bold or double lines). Is this normal, or is there something wrong with our Excel installation here?

this is normal!
If you need these kind of formats you have to use VBA

No that just seems to be a limitation of CF. Seems odd, but it is.
