Some emails do not pop from my gmail account

I am using Total Access Emailer to send email messages. It uses a local smtp
server on my computer. I am sending test messages to my gmail accounts, some
of the mails are then being pop'd to my outlook 2007, but others are not.

For example,
I sent 3 examples of one mail & report - all 3 arrived in my gmail webmail
account, and all 3 pop'd to outlook
I then sent 3 examples of another report - all 3 arrived in my gmail webmail
account, only 1 pop'd to outlook
I then sent 3 examples of the third report - all 3 arrived in my gmail
webmail account, non pop'd to outlook

I have my gmail webmail account set up that if an email is pop'd then it is
archived. All of the mails have been archived as if pop'd.

When i hit send and receive in Outlook 2007, it shows that all 9 emails were
being received but only 4 show up in my inbox.

I have tried to send to both my personal gmail account and my google apps
gmail account, both with the same outcome. (both are set up to pop to my
Outlook) Some are downloaded, some are not. I deleted all of my rules and
alerts in Outlook, just in case I was deleting messages accidentally, but i
do not know why one example of a message would download, but not the other 2
identical messages.

I do not know if this is an outlook problem, or a gmail problem.

Please can someone help me.

Thanks
Deb

Do you have a handheld device in the mix? Is gmail set up to allow
downloading of all messages and not just those new since last download? Does
it change if you access gmail using IMAP instead? Do you have any anti-virus
or -spam tools integrated with Outlook? Any rules?
