I've been asked to write a billing application for a local auto
services business. It sounds well withint my ability.

What should a typical contract look like, for the work I'll do on this
Access Database?

to help each other solve Access database problems, and your question
pertains to contracts - not an Access database issue.

So where does one go to get that kind of information? If I didn't know
where else to obtain informaton about standard contracts, and wanted to do
it myself, I would start with the library.

Why don't you get the **** off the internet, and go to the library
yourself?

Dear oh dear George, what an attitude.
You come to the newsgroup for free advice and you abuse a responder?
Pity the poor sods who asked you to "write a billing application" for them.

Then again, being "well withint" your ability, perhaps the library WOULD
be a good start. First book off the rank would be the dictionary to help
you with your spelling, and while you're at it look up the word "etiquette".
