Some kind of border thing...

I am having trouble with my MSWord. How do I get rid of the funny looking
"L"s in my template? Everytime I double click on the "L" it goes to the page
setup options. The "L" look like the border angles when u create a border. I
can't do anything in the border section though. Also how do you reset the
normal.dot to the factory settings? Please e-mail me with the answer.
