Some links may contain viruses message

In Power Point 2003, when selecting File, Package for CD and including the
Power Point viewer, upon viewing the presentation and clicking on hyperlinks
within the presentation we get a message each time that says "Some hyperlinks
may contain viruses or otherwise be harmful to your computer. It is
important to be certain that this hyperlink is from a trustworthy source. Do
you want to open this hyperlink?" It not only does this on URLS but other
documents such as word and excel documents that reside in the same directory.
However if we use Power Point and not the viewer then we do not get the
message. When these cds are sent to clients we do not want them to have to
click this security message for every embedded file since there are several.
Is there a way to turn these messages off in the Power Point Viewer?

I'm not sure about ppt viewer workarounds, but this is the current info on

The bad news is that
A) the registry fix doesnt work with the viewer and
B) even if it did it would only work on the host computer (not the clients).
I dont think there's any way to fix this.
