Some Palm Datebook events won't sync to Entourage 2004?

Hi,

My setup: Using the latest Microsoft Entourage conduit for Entourage 2004,
syncing with a Sony Clie SJ-33 (Palm OS 4.x) using Missing Sync 4.x. My
Datebook application is Datebook 5.

Briefly, I have a group of Datebook 5 events that aren't syncing to
Entourage when I hotsync. All are contained on the same date on the
handheld, and all are "floating events." Datebook 5 has already moved these
"floaters" (which Entourage understands as un-timed, all day events) to
today (Sunday) while in Entourage, they're stuck on last Thursday. I also
noticed earlier that another appointment from last Thursday that appeared on
my handheld wasn't appearing in Entourage after a hotsync. Adding a word to
the appointment on the handheld seemed to fix this, and the event
transferred over to Entourage. I also sync the same handheld with Outlook
2003 on the PeeCee at work, and, apart from the forced "slow sync" mode each
time I switch machines, have never had any problems with this.

As far as I can recall, I never saw this problem of non-syncing events
before moving to Missing Sync 4.x to replace Palm's Hotsync Manager,
although I could be wrong about that. Since it's the Microsoft Entourage
Conduit that's doing all the heavy lifting here, I don't see why that would
make a difference.

By the way, I tried removing and then reinstalling the Entourage Conduit,
but it didn't help.

All help appreciated!

I agree, but it might be worth asking on the Missing Sync for PalmOS talk
list. A couple of the Mark/Space developers hang out there, so there's some
good info to be had.

This is a good suggestion, Chris, thank you. I've signed up and posted this
question to that list; I'll see what I can find out.
