Hey all,
I am not sure what to do and would really appreciate some advise.
My 17" Powerbook was working fine up until a few days ago. All of
sudden I am noticing a HUGE decrease in speed and the HD is constantl
writing. A simple click often givces me the spinning deathball and
need to crash restart. Today I received 2 error, one in Word and on
in Entourage. The word error page read:
Word cannot save or create this file. the disc may be full or writ
protected. try one of the following: *Free more memory. *Make sure tha
the disk you want to save the file on is not full, write-protected, o
damaged. (Word Work File D_813995388)
I ran Disc Warrior and the disc utility and neither found any majoy H
problems. I also have about 12 GB free.
Entourage is giving me the following error:
entourage unknown error 16008
Now a new error is coming up sayingt that the system cannot writ
preferences and changes made may not be saved.
I feel like I am on a downward spiral. Anyone ever run into anythin
like this before and have a tip or two to fix it?
