What are the steps that are needed to add sound to a singl file/page(not over
the entire slide presentation)?

Hi,

This is what you have to do:

1) Insert the Sound.
2) Go to Custom Animation, and right-click the sound on the custom animation
pane.
3) Click Effect Options.
4) Under stop playing, click the button "After Current Slide" and then click
OK.
