Sort Alpha by last name with first and last name in one column

A user here wants to know if they can sort a column by last name but th
first and last name are in the same cell(column).

Presently:
Jane Smith
John Doe

Would Like

John Doe
Jane Smith

Woud suggest you either separate the name into two different cells
and sort accordingly or use a macro to reverse the order of names
separated by a comma. i.e. "Smith, Jane"

To separate use Data, Text to Columns or a macro like
