Sort an Index list in Word with leaders to pg numbers

I need to know if I can sor an Index list with leaders to the page number, in
Word. I cannot find how to do it....Is there a way?

Indexes are already sorted and have period leaders by default if you
right-align the page numbers. What is it that you are trying to accomplish?
