Sort ascending & descending button

Hi,

The sort button does not appear to be functioning properly. For example. I
ask it to sort unit numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 & 11 and the records are
displayed in the following order 1,10,11,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. It appears to be
sorting the first number only. Can this be changed?

The column you are attempting to sort is a text field. Change this to a
numeric (integer, long) field and your sort will work as planned.
