I wish I could break this down, but I have been struggling for some reasons
and so I am going to post my entire challenge here instead of trying to
compartmentalize it.
I have a database. I have many tables and several forms. Within one form,
I have a subform. The Parent Form catures statisitics relating to cutomer
traffic. The Child Form (subform) is a call log, where each record
corresponds to a Parent Form. Within the subform are two criteria -
'resolved (yes/no)' and 'name.' I want to build a funtion button that will
sort the records according to whether or not 'resolved' is FALSE and whether
'name' has an entry. (This is because not all Parent Forms have a Child
Form, a call log. The purpose is so a staff member can browse their call log
and follow-up on any calls that are not yet resolved, but they need to be
able to seperate those form the ones that are resolved.
I suspect that I am going to have to build a macro or an expression which,
if I am green using Access, I am particuliarly green with those two
functions. If anyone can take the time to walk me through, I am forever
indepbted because I think this particuliar task has given me my first grey
hair.
Thank you in advance.
