Sort descending by THREAD

My current company is a Microsoft shop, so Outlook is the name of the
game. I've actually grown to like Outlook better than Netscape, with
the exception of 1 problem - one that I haven't figured out how to
resolve yet.

In Netscape 4.x (7.x is useless), I was able to sort all my messages by
"thread" - the top thread being the oldest, the bottom thread being the
newest in the list.

As a secondary sort attribute, each thread was sorted by DATE, the top
being the oldest, the bottom being the newest message in the thread.

I've tried in Outlook 2000, XP, and now 2003, and I've never been able
to successfully get this to work in Outlook. What's the trick here????

Double clicking the Received (or any other) heading reverses the order, but
Outlook 2003 has lots of sorting options. Go to View, Arrange By and you'll
see a long list. Dig deeper into the other View settings and you can do just
about anything.
