Sort email for multiple users

I have a range strange situation. We have three users accessing a mailbox.
The confusion at the moment is that if one takes an action on a particular
email, the other remains unaware of it. To avoid this confusion, I wanted to
sort the mails according to different colour codes for each user. In other
words, is it possible to divide the mailbox into different colours codes so
each user knows their action items?

No, but you could move the e-mails to individual folders when someone
takes action on it. That way the e-mail isn't in limbo.
