Sort entries in Drop Down List Box

Hi all,
I have a drop down list box which has a SharePoint list as its back end data
source. The SharePoint list is a Contacts list so is sorted by Surname by
default. I am using Company Name in my selection, so wish to sort the
companies by name. I cannot see any way of doing this either permanently in
SharePoint, or dynamically in InfoPath. Anyone know how?

Hi Greg,
As you seem to have detected, to me, code is a four letter word. I'm willing
to give it a go though, could you give me some pointers? Very basic pointers?
My VB experience ended at "Hello World" some years ago.
