Sorting a Report

I have a report that is grouped by Department, and I am
trying to sort the departments in a specific order (not
alphabetical) for output in the report. The table has a
field "Department" that is a look-up column to a
Department table which has two fields (order, department).
Any recomendations on how to do this, the best I can do
right now is alphabetical.

Could you include the order field in the query but discard
it when previewing/printing the report? If necessary
create a query that puts the data in the correct order
before having the report access the query.
