sorting an outline

I've always put important information like on line passwords, Personal
social security numbers, American Airline frequent flyer numbers, Verizon
cell phone info, etc in outline form in a word document. is it possible to
make an outline and sort the main topics alphabetically?

Easier to create a table and provide column headings. Sort on the headings.
