Sorting by alphabet (danish language)

When I do sorting in Access 2002 I get the following results:

GAB
GAC
GAD
etc..
to the end
GAZ
GAA

and

AAA
AAB
AAC
etc. is sorted out as the last. It appears the AA is treated to be Ã…. How
can this be avoided generally?

Open the database and go to Tools, Options, General tab. Select the
appropriate language from the "New database sort order" dropdown. Click OK.
Next Compact and Repair the database to lock in the sort order.

I believe that "General" picks up the sort order from the regional settings
of the computer. If picking a specific languange doesn't work, you may need
to change the Windows regional settings then do another compact and repair of
the database.
