Sorting By attachment does not list chronologically

Hi-

We are running Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 on various
machines. When we sort by attachment in Outlook most of the records are
listed chronologically accept those after October ( This was in and around
the time we migrated from SBS2003). For the records after October including
any new email messages with attachments will appear somewhere near the bottom
of the list instead of showing up top. Some of the records with recent email
attachments show up top but most don't . There doesn't seem like there is
any rhyme or reason to this. Any suggestions would help.

Thank you

Sorting by a attachment is a yes/no kind of thing; sorting by date isn't a
condition then so it is sorted by the item order in the Outlook database
instead.

You want to Group By attachment and Sort By received date. You can set this
in your view settings.
