Sorting Column

Exporting tags from Autocad I end up with my first colum containin
data such as A6r ....A35r & A6 ......A55, how can I sort this column i
accending order by the number only, ignoring the letters....??????

All help appreciated

the user defined function uses Val(c)
to obtain the numeric value.
