sorting names

Hello there,

i have something i want to do if you can help me on that , i'd appreciate
it, in my contact list, i try to print it , and when i go to the print
preview, names with same starting letter are grouped togather, i saw before
in other PCs that a black small box appears in the head of each group of
names indicating the starting letter of this group, but in my contact i only
have this small box but empty, and only in each page, i have this box and
inside it indicated (A-Z), i want to put on each group of names the starting
letter of it, how can i make it, i use office xp

Under page set-up (for printing) do you not have 'format' > options >
Include 'Headings for each letter'

I use 2003 not XP though.

i did but still the first box only has (a-z) and at the start of each group
of names , a small black box exists , but empty
