Sorting of Tags by Date - ON 2007

When I select Show All Tags and then select Group Tags By date, all the
tagged notes listed under the Older Notes group are randomly sorted. There
appears to be no rhyme or reason. I confirmed it does not matter what the
page date is or the date the note was last modified. There are clearly very
old tagged notes at the top of the list of the Older Notes group. And the
sort order changes depending on what page you are on when you refresh the
results.

This seems like an inherent flaw in the design. I depend heavily on tags but
anything beyond Yesterday's Notes, This Week's Notes, or Last Week's Notes is
useless in the Group Tags By Date list.

Any suggestions or explanations? Am I missing something?

Were you ever able to find a solution to this problem? I'm having the sameissue in OneNote 2010

Very useful idea. It would be cool to be implemented.
