sorting

I have a column with a list of names.

Example.
Mr. and Mrs John Doe
Mr. Bill Gates
Dr. Firstname Lastname

I need to be able to sort these alphabetically, but the Mr./Mrs./Dr. does not allow me to.
How can I do this?
