Sound files and background music

Can i play a continuous music file throughout a presentation that will NOT
stop when it hits other sound files? If so how do i insert it?

Yes.Insert the music file via Insert -> Movies and
Sounds->Insert a sound file.

Note, you should not insert the music file(wav) as sound effect of
transitions.

When you insert the music, go to the custom animation menu and edit the "End
animation after" and select a # of slides that is greater than the number of
slides you have in your presentation (ex. 999) and the music will continually
play throughout the presentation and the rest of your presentation will flow
smoothly with the music being uninterrupted.
