Sound Files from PPT for MAC 2004 to 2008

I just ordered a new MacBook Pro with Office 2008 which will arrive in 2-4
days.
The Apple Store rep will transfer the files on my PowerBook G4 (with Office
for MAC 2004) to the new MacBook Pro. I presume that's all they will do and
then I am on my own.
I have read about some of the problems/glitches with the sound files not
working when changing from PPT for MAC 2004 to PPT for MAC 2008. On my
current PowerBook G4 I have a large PPT 2004 presentation (150 plus slides
with nature photos) with at least 20 slides containing sounds (music, nature
sounds) which are linked to the ITunes file. The sounds work fine in my
presentations with PPT 2004. The sounds are not embedded in the PPT which is
fine since I do not share the files. I am very worried that the sounds will
not play properly in my presentation that is converted to the PPT 2008. I
then will not know what to do. Are there any steps I can take to increase
the chances that the PPT sounds will work correctly when I am up and running
with PPT 2008? I am trying to prevent a situation where the sounds don't work,
and I am completely at a loss as to what to do.

Most likely the Apple Store will use the Migration Assistant, which
should simply copy your documents folder. Sounds should not be affected
by this procedure.
