sound files

I'm looking for a way to convert .cda files to .wav , .mp3 or .mid files so I can use them on my web site.
Is there a way to do this without specialty software?

If you want to make sound clips, open the CD using the Windows
CD Player, and then use Windows Sound Recorder to
make and save the clips. ( they save as .wav files )
Both utilities have been in every Windows version since 95.

Also Media player has ( or had ) the ability to save
CD audio as mp3
