I am trying to incorporate an MP3 file into my powerpoint presentation using
powerpoint 2003 but I can only add a WAV file, is there anyway I can put the

I assume you're trying to insert the file in a slide transition, then?

Head to http://www.pptfaq.com and put Sound Across Slides in the searchbox
there.

There should be info on a utility that will fool PPT into thinking that an
MP3 is a WAV file. Convert your MP3 with that and see if PPT will see it as
a WAV.

If the utility isn't mentioned on the Sound Across Slides page, then search
for Links Break there instead.

I answered your other post. Check for the file Echo is referring to here
