Hello and thanks ahead for you help. I am using Excell 2000 and I have
a spreadsheet where I enter the members Name in column A and thier
submitted data in B thru AA . I use this data on other sheets via
VLOOKUP and the like so these names must be exact and my typing is not
the best. I have a list of member names, spelled correctly, further
across the sheet to spellcheck my input name with this formula
"=NOT(ISNA(VLOOKUP(A4,$CA$4:$CA$204,1,0)))" in Conditional formatting
to turn the cells Green if matching. What I also would like is to hear
a sound if correctly spelled so I don't have to look up and lose my
spot, like I said I am a poor typist and I need all the help I can
get.I do have an ALERT Function "=Alarm(AT4,">=0") sounding ( Ding.wav
) to tell me when I have reached a certain cell. The same sound would
be OK but I'm not sure how to tell it to ding when =certain colors for
the Names Cell. Hope I haven't confused you to much. I start from
scratch each week with new data so this is a weekly thing. Thanks
