Sound in PPT 2008 Mac

Hi

I hade a lot of different sound files (wav) in one PPT page in PPT 2004;
when I clicked on one "sound icon" the sound played until I clicked another
sound icon on same page and the new sound was played and the first sound was
stopped.

But when I am using this PPT in 2008 the first sound doesn't stop playing...
So when I click a sound icon the sound playes, but when I then click the
next sound file it starts playing but the first sound in not stopping and
you will hear 2 sounds at the same time. How do I make the first sound stop?

I have like 15 different sound files/icons in one page and I must be able to
click on the sounds icons in any order!
