Sound playing during webpage - having trouble

I have a ram file I want to play when I open a webpage. I went to page
properties/general and pointed to the location of the .ram file. I checked
off "loop".

When I bring up the page either in front page or with a browser - no sound.

Is there something I am missing?

all he's saying is most users find background music annoying....if you want
music - fine but give your users the choice! i.e. link to files so people can
play them - don't just not give them the choice because there is no (easy) way to
turn off background sound - short of pulling the plug on the speakers.

Thanks, it was an inappropriate reply and I appologize, but I just couldn't resist. Having had experience in being forced to listen to music on a pages I thought interesting, you know those URLs never made it to my favorites.....flush
