How can I add a wav file to an email massage that plays
automatically when the recipient opens the message?

Create a new template with contents like so:

<HTML><HEAD><TITLE>Loud E-mail</TITLE>
<BODY>
<bgsound src="http://www.yoursite.com/file.wav">
</BODY></HTML>

Or set Word as your E-mail Editor (Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format), and
in a new mail choose View-> Toolbars-> Web Tools and press on the sound icon
and browse to the file you would like to add.
