SP2a - Checked out Projects

MUST all "enerprise checked out projects" be checked in before SP2a is
applied to MS Project Server? Or is it just good maintenace, or not even
necessar?

I am not personally aware of any such requirement. If it were me upgrading
my Project Server, I would want to make sure all projects and resources are
checked in, and that the Project Server database was backed up very recently
(such as today) before I would make the upgrade. But please understand, a
"worry wart" is giving you this advice! :)

I'm finally able to get back to updating my postings on this forum. I
appologize for the dealy.

Like you, I am the "overly cautious" type, but I wanted to let you know that
there were four projects which had not been checked in prior to the update
being applied (just a miscommunication between the two people who were
working on the update). So far we have not experienced any issues with those
projects.
